  • Students are restricted from other areas of the hall complex not in use by WDS. This includes the kitchen and auditorium. Please adhere to these rules for your own safety.

  • Skateboarding and scootering is prohibited in the car park area by the TCDC.

  • Mobile phones must be switched to silent while class is in session.

  • Students do much better with minimal distractions. Pre-school children must be supervised at all times during class, and spectators are asked to remain quiet throughout the lesson.

  • Spectators: The first and last classes of Terms 1 and 2 will be open to spectators. All other classes are closed to spectators. Students waiting for class may use the foyer or wait quietly at the back of the hall.

  • Drop-off and pick-up: Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up students on time. Students may wait in the foyer or at the back of the hall while waiting for parents.

  • Waiting at the hall: Please minimise waiting time before and after class, particularly for students under 12. Teachers cannot supervise waiting students, and appropriate behaviour in all shared areas is expected.

  • Invoices & newsletters are emailed at the beginning of each term. Invoices must be paid online or by cash placed in a named, sealed envelope and handed to teachers. Failure to pay may result in dismissal. Discounts apply only if invoices are paid within 14 days.

  • Refunds and credits: A refund or credit will only be issued if WDS cancels a class and is unable to schedule a catch-up lesson. Credits will not be issued for absences due to illness or travel.

  • Uniform: Uniform is required and must be worn to class. Students waiting on uniform orders are an exception. Hair must be tied back.

  • Liability: Teachers are not liable for personal injury or sickness during class time, or for loss or damage to personal property.

  • Medical information: Please inform teachers of any physical limitations your child may have.

  • Dance terms: Classes follow the school term calendar (no classes during school holidays).

  • Emergency evacuation: In the event of an evacuation, all students and families are required to follow the evacuation procedure
